John H. Ruby - Louisville AttorneyMr. Ruby is a Kentucky native where his family has lived for generations. He honed his business acumen while in college at the University of Louisville Business School where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in marketing and a minor in communications. He also was on the Dean’s List and a Dean’s Scholar and also received several academic honors and scholarships. After receiving his undergraduate degree in 1990, Mr. Ruby obtained his law degree from the University of Louisville in 1993 where he was also named to the Dean’s List for his academic performance.

After law school, Mr. Ruby was the head of the Estate Planning division at the downtown law firm of O’Koon, Menefee & Gray where he also gained experience handling numerous types of civil litigation. In 1999 he decided to start his own legal practice where he could personally handle his cases and give his clients the attention they deserve.

While Mr. Ruby may be considered a jack-of-all-trades in the legal field, his primary focus is on estate planning, probate, business, commercial law and civil litigation, as well as, family law. He frequently lectures on estate planning issues and is a former member of the national non-profit organization Foundation for Personal Financial Education. Mr. Ruby is proud of the client-centered approach his firm has become known for in the Louisville area.
