Member: John H. Ruby was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in 1993, to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky in 1993, and to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky in 1994. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association.
Biography: John H. Ruby founded the law firm of John H. Ruby & Associates in 1999 after leaving the downtown Louisville firm of O'Koon, Menefee & Gray where he managed the firm's Estate Planning division. He engages in general practice with a focus on tax and estate planning, business and commercial law, and civil law. He is also a frequent lecturer on Estate Planning issues and is a member of the Foundation for Personal Financial Education, a non-profict organization, and enjoys donating his time to conduct employee training at the Federal, State and County levels, as well as, the training for fortune 500 companies.
